Terms of Service

The Service

Tab2Vid is an online service that converts the user's music files into videos with animated tablature or notation, designed to be overlaid on your own videos, for example on YouTube. The video produced contains only the animated strip on a solid-color background.

Provider

The Service is operated by Tab2Vid. Contact: support@tab2vid.com.

Registration and account

• To use the Service you must create an account and be at least 16 years old. If you are a minor, you may use the paid features only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You must provide true data and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activities carried out with your account.
• To prevent abuse, only one account per device is allowed: creating multiple accounts to renew the free trial is not permitted.

Plans and payments

• The Free plan is a one-off trial: it provides a total number of video minutes, shown at the time of use, which does not renew each month and does not expire. Additional minutes may come from the invite programme.
• The Pro plan offers unlimited minutes and is available with a monthly or annual subscription, handled through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at expiry, unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel the subscription from your account area, via the Stripe customer portal.
• Prices are shown on the site. Any applicable taxes are handled at checkout.

Invite a friend

The “Invite a friend” programme awards additional trial minutes both to the person who invites and to the person who signs up through the personal link, up to the maximum number of rewarded invites shown on the dedicated page. Minutes are credited when the invited person registers, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and do not constitute an enforceable credit. Self-invites (same device or same browser) and the creation of fake accounts are not allowed: in those cases the minutes are not awarded and the account may be suspended. We may change or end the programme at any time, without affecting minutes already used.

Right of withdrawal

The Service provides digital content with immediate performance. By activating a plan and starting to use the Service, the consumer requests immediate performance and acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully used, under consumer protection law. You can always cancel the subscription for future periods.

Watermark

At this stage the videos generated on the Free plan include a "Made by Tab2Vid.com" watermark; videos on the Pro plan have no watermark.

User content and copyright

• You upload music files under your own responsibility and warrant that you have the rights needed to use them and to generate the related videos.
• Tab2Vid claims no rights over your files or the generated videos, which remain yours.
• You may not use the Service for unlawful activities or in violation of third-party rights.

Intellectual property of the Service

The software, brand and content of the Tab2Vid site are owned by the provider. You may not copy, resell or reuse them without authorization.

Service availability

The Service is provided "as is". We strive to keep it working, but we do not guarantee continuity or freedom from errors, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue it, including for maintenance.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect damages or for the loss of data or profits arising from the use or malfunction of the Service. The mandatory rights of consumers remain unaffected.

Suspension and account closure

We may suspend or close an account in case of violation of these Terms or abusive use of the Service. You can close your account at any time from your account area.

Changes to the Terms and prices

We may update these Terms and the prices. If prices change, already active subscriptions keep their existing conditions until renewal. Changes are published on this page.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes fall under the courts of Turin, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer jurisdiction provided by law for users acting as consumers.
